Express to Empower (E2E) uses art as a tool to educate youth on bodily autonomy, gender, and sexuality. The program incorporates elements of art therapy with Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE), aiming to address the pervasive issue of rape culture by making critical knowledge accessible to children. Given Malaysia’s conservative context and the rise of cases like the GISBH incident, we believe that the current educational resources on these topics are insufficient. This initiative seeks to empower youth with the knowledge and tools necessary for self-protection and advocacy.
